About This Program

Cleaning for a Reason is a national nonprofit organization that provides free home cleaning services to women and men undergoing active cancer treatment. Simplify Cleaning Services is proud to be a Cleaning for a Reason partner.

This program exists because we believe that a clean, sanitized home is not a luxury for someone fighting cancer  it is a necessity. A compromised immune system needs a clean environment, and we are honored to play a small role in supporting patients through one of the hardest seasons of their lives.

Every cleaning provided through this program is 100% donated by Simplify Cleaning Services. We do not receive any payment for these visits. In fact, as a program partner, we pay to participate so that patients like you can be connected with a trusted, professional cleaning company in your area. This is our way of giving back to the community we serve.

What You Receive

As a Cleaning for a Reason recipient, you will receive two complimentary professional cleanings of your home. Each visit is performed by our trained cleaning team and follows our standard maintenance cleaning scope, prioritizing the areas most important to your comfort and health.

Your assigned team member will work through your home systematically, focusing on kitchens and bathrooms first, followed by living areas and bedrooms. Each visit is time-based, and our team will complete as much as possible within the scheduled window.

Scheduling — Please Read Carefully

Because these cleanings are donated and scheduled around our team's existing availability, scheduling works differently than a standard paid appointment.

We will contact you to schedule your visits based on when our team has an opening in your area. Visits are typically scheduled with 24 to 48 hours advance notice. We make every effort to find a day and time that works for you, but we ask for your flexibility and understanding that our availability may change.

In the event that we need to reschedule your visit due to team availability, illness, weather, or other operational reasons, we will contact you as soon as possible and work with you to find the next available date. Rescheduling is not a reflection of the priority we place on your care — it is simply the reality of managing a team-based service business, and we never want a schedule change to feel like a broken promise.

If you need to reschedule your visit, please contact us as early as possible so we can adjust our team's schedule and offer your slot to another patient in need.

What Is Included

Each donated visit includes standard maintenance cleaning of your home's main living areas. Our team will prioritize bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and bedrooms in that order based on available time.

What Is Not Included

These donated visits do not include deep cleaning, heavy build-up removal, inside cabinets or appliances, organization of personal belongings, post-construction or move-in cleaning, or any service outside standard maintenance scope. If your home requires deep cleaning before maintenance visits can begin, our team will communicate that to you and work with Cleaning for a Reason to determine next steps.

Quality and Feedback

We hold our donated visits to the same professional standard as our paid services. If you have any concerns about your cleaning, please contact us within 24 hours of your visit. We will review your feedback and do everything within our capacity to make it right.

Because these visits are donated, refunds and credits do not apply. However, your experience matters deeply to us and we will always listen and respond with care.

By signing below, you confirm that you understand the Cleaning for a Reason program is a donated service provided at no cost to you, that scheduling is based on team availability and rescheduling may occur, that each visit follows a standard maintenance cleaning scope and is not a deep cleaning service, and that feedback must be shared within 24 hours of each visit.
